The Financial Ombudsman Service is initiating a programme to implement Workday for finance and HR services. The programme manager role is to ensure that delivery is to contract and that the controls, governance, financial tracking, and reporting are clear, effective and accurate.

Who the specialist will work with
You'll be working with: Internal: HR, Finance, IT and Procurement teams, project team and senior stakeholders including our CIO and HR director External: systems integrator, software provider (Workday).
What the specialist will work on
The outcome that this role will deliver are: Artefacts to manage SI partners induction to the Service created and register of compliance created (and maintained). Artefacts to manage SI partners delivery (in reference to contract) and schedule of reviews created. Programme Management artefacts created/maintained, including the integrated programme plan in relation to the governance and risk management structures and financial projections. Workday, operational, for the scope specified. Service management artefacts created that govern supplier management/service management for the programme and for the future managed service. Plans for the decommission of the source systems costed and documented (for the scope specified).

Working full time onsite and remotely, alongside Ombudsman employees/teams.

EXPERIENCE
Essential skills and experience
  • Have demonstrable experience of implementing Workday in similar organisation(s)
  • Have PMP, APMP or MSP qualification as a minimum
  • Have experience of leading successful programmes in excess of £5m
  • Have SI implementation experience
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills: communicating in a straightforward and approachable way
  • Have experience in change programmes
  • Have experience in working in regulated industries
  • Have full systems lifecycle experience, including transition to support operations
  • Be reasonably located within commutable distance of the central office (London)
Nice-to-have skills and experience
  • Have experience of HR functions and processes
  • Have experience of Finance functions and processes
