Who the specialist will work with
The UKIB Back Office Project Team consists of an IT Project Manager, a Finance Product Owner, an HCM Product Owner, Subject Matter Experts, Business Analysts, Data Architect and Business Experts from across the functions as required.The Implementation Partner is Workday.
What the specialist will work on
The responsibilities will be:1. Standard Operating Procedure definition2. Build and unit test reports3. Functional test scripts and execution4. End User Training documentation5. User Acceptance Test scripts6. User Acceptance Test execution7. End-user training delivery8. Go live support9. Carry-out knowledge transfer to the UKIB Project Team in relation to the implemented solution.

Working arrangements
The Buyer’s Head Office is in Leeds with a small footprint in London. Whilst most of the contract can be managed remotely, there will be occasions where onsite meetings or presence in Leeds or London will be required.The Buyer operates a hybrid working model, with a material remote workforce that will need to be trained and supported once the solution goes live. the Buyer currently has c. 175 users within the organisation; however, we expect this to scale up to around 300. This contract will include go-live support and training for all users, across all locations, office-based and remote.

EXPERIENCE
Essential skills and experience
  • Resources with at least 3 years of recent implementation experience with Workday HCM and Payroll, including holding relevant Pro accreditation from Workday
  • Experience with hands-on design, administration, and implementation of Workday HCM and Payroll including Workday upgrades/ new features management
  • Experience of In-depth knowledge of the Workday system deployment lifecycle
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Human Resources function and business processes preferably within a Financial Services Organisation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment and use an iterative method and flexible approach to enable rapid delivery and manage a tight schedule
  • Experience in taking information from multiple sources and synthesising conclusions for both a technical and non-technical audience
  • Experience of working with senior-level stakeholders to prioritise requirements, mediate between multiple perspectives, and to convince and influence on benefits, costs and risks of different approaches to problems
  • Navigate and mediate conflict and foster honest dialogue
  • Working with Testing teams to document results and test issues
  • Demonstrate experience of excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Experience in establishing, developing, and maintaining cross-functional working relationships
Nice-to-have skills and experience
  • Evidence of CIPD qualification
  • Demonstrate experience of Prince 2 / Agile project management
  • Demonstrate experience of deploying Workday Launch
