ABOUT THE WORK

Who the specialist will work with
 The team is embedded with the Analytical community and serves other external departments, but all users are Analysts (Statisticians, Economists, Operational Researchers and Social Researchers).
What the specialist will work on
 1. Develop & document functional test procedures for new production builds for the analytical platform 2. Develop & document non-functional test of the analytical system. 3. Conduct User Acceptance testing of enhancements and new functionailty.
WORK SETUP
Address where the work will take place
 Westminster, London.
Working arrangements
 On-site 5 days a week. meetings with users and teams in London offices
Security clearance
 Willing to undergo Security Clearance (SC)

EXPERIENCE
Essential skills and experience
  • Experience of developing functional tests within window & linux build environments
  • Experience of developing non-functional for systems that are based on cloud (public and private)
  • Experience of working with users to conduct user acceptance testing.
  • Experience of working in cloud environment (both public and private)
  • Experience of reporting results and recommendation to senior management
Nice-to-have skills and experience
  • Experience of working with on-premise and cloud analytical tools such as PowerBi,SAS, SPSS and NHM
  • Experience of working with government analyst, such as statisticians or economists
  • Experience of working with BAU/Support team to help them improve process
