ABOUT THE WORK

Who the specialist will work with
We have a team of operational and IT stakeholders led by a Senior Responsible Owner. The project is also supported by Clinical Safety Officers and a Project Assurance role.
What the specialist will work on
UHD is part way through a large and complicated programme to consolidate the two PAS systems from the two legacy trusts (prior to the UHD merger) onto a single system. The current programme manager leaves in March 2022 and we require a replacement to complete the work over the next 3 months. The full range of programme management duties will be expected of the post holder.
WORK SETUP
Address where the work will take place
The base will be Poole Hospital, BH15 2JB. We are a flexible employer and would expect that the successful candidate can work remotely for part of their week
Working arrangements
We are flexible but would expect a minimum of 3 days a week and a blend of F2F and offsite working

EXPERIENCE
Essential skills and experience
  • Be qualified to at least MSP Practitioner level
  • Have a minimum of 5 years in Programme Management Consultancy
  • Be able to evidence of Programme Management for other NHS organisations over 5 years
  • Have current knowledge of IT solutions and in particular booking systems, Patient Administration and documentation workflow
  • Have knowledge of testing methodology and Quality Assurance techniques as applied to IT change programmes
Nice-to-have skills and experience
  • Be qualified to MSP Advanced Practitioner level
  • Evidence of delivering Digital Transformation Programmes in the NHS
