 The exisiting team is a blended team consisiting of internal DWP personnel & third party resources.

 The service designer will support activity within the shared channels category of DWP Digital
WORK SETUP
Address where the work will take place
 The supplier will be alingned to a DWP Technology Hub(Newcastle) and will operate a Hybrid working model(2 days office based/3 days WFH)
Working arrangements
 Hybrid with 2 days in the DWP technology Hub(Newcastle)

EXPERIENCE
Essential skills and experience
  • Experience of designing to GDS Principles
  • Experience in interpreting technical and non technical requirements to design a comprehensive service
  • Experience in designing services that meet assisted digital user needs
  • Experience of agile methodology in a fast paced and evolving environment
  • Experience in prioritising and defining user stories
  • Experience of working within the public sector
  • Ability to use quantitative and qualitative data about users to turn user focus into outcomes
Nice-to-have skills and experience
  • Experience of working in blended Teams
  • Experience of working in similar size organisations to DWP
