The appointed project manager will establish a formal project team within the Trust, including but not limited to, business analyst, project co-ordinator (graduate trainee), finance systems team, suppliers systems team, procurement team members, the wider finance/supplies team and IT department.

ABOUT THE WORK

Who the specialist will work with
Working with various stakeholders within an NHS organisation including Finance and Procurement departments, ultimately reporting back to the Assistant Director of Finance.
What the specialist will work on
Lead the project, Plan workload of team, Arrange meetings / facilitate discussion including managing conflicts to ensure that the project is prioritised and progresses in line with the agreed timeframes, Monitor progress of the project, Realign priorities to ensure the key objectives are achieved, Work closely with the business analyst and project co-ordinator, Ensure that deadlines are met, Report on BA output/workload, Check outputs against the scope/requirements before being presented to the wider project team, Produce weekly report/minutes following project team meetings, including documenting and reporting all progress, risks and mitigations.

Working arrangements
A PM is required for a period of the 3 months. The Trust would like assurance that the PM that starts the work, finishes the work, and there is no change in personnel in order to maintain continuity. If a PM leaves before end of the project then the Trust would have to consider paying only a x% of outstanding invoices where there has been a break in service delivery.

EXPERIENCE
Essential skills and experience
  • Have experience in delivering Project Management Services in line with ERP systems
  • Have knowledge and experience of managing the ERP system project delivery
  • Demonstrate experience in knowledge transfer of support processes and project management principles to existing finance and procurement departments
Nice-to-have skills and experience
  • To have worked with ABS efinancials system in a previous role
