Summary of the work
The role is aimed at an experienced Security Assurance Coordinator and involves meeting the requirements of JSP 440, the Defence Manual of Security and ensuring systems meet accreditation standards. Extensive knowledge of Government and Defence Systems is essential.

Who the specialist will work with
Civilian, Military and Contractors within the Interoperability Services and Gateways team.
What the specialist will work on
Provide security assurance to the Pegasus Programme as well as wider ISG requirements to transition Pegasus to CDIS. The Security, Service Management, and Directories elements of this SAC requirement will be needed to sustain and support existing live services as well as new capability tasking. The contracted SAC will be required to provide advice and support to the ISG Portfolio and Pegasus Programme Project Managers.
WORK SETUP

Defence Digital, Building 405, Spur D1, Westwells Road, MOD Corsham, Corsham, Wiltshire SN13 9NR
Working arrangements
All tasking will take place from MOD Corsham and you are required 5 days a week, the working day is 8 hours to include 30 minutes for lunch. Day visits may be required within the UK. Travel and subsistence will be provided for off-site working at MOD Civilian Rates.
Security clearance
Due to short timescales DV Clearance must be in place prior to contract starting & for the duration, due to the projects the individual is required to work with. Role is outside of IR35. Cyber Risk Assessment RAR-UB7F5TJZ SAL letters to be issued. There is a current incumbent.

Essential skills and experience
  • Extensive experience of providing security assurance with Government and Defence systems, including a good understanding of the Interoperability Services and Gateways department including the Pegasus Programme
  • Experience in working with international project teams, providing security assurance guidance in support of delivery
  • Experience of working to the Defence Digital CAPINT Process
  • Ability to work across multiple project teams whilst maintaining key security assurance outputs
