EXPERIENCE
Essential skills and experience
- Proven knowledge and a minimum of 5+ years experience of:
- Working as a Senior IT Project Delivery Manager in a large scale organisation and/or Public Sector
- Managing large, complex, IT projects. Successfully delivering hardware and software products and services to internal and 3rd party organisations
- Building complex delivery plans, identifying and managing key integration points, identifying and mitigating risks, issues and dependencies with effective escalation where necessary, demonstrating ownership through to resolution
- Tracking and managing project progress and budget, providing informative and accurate reporting to senior leaders and/or governance boards, to enable key decisions to be made
- Actively managing decision making, governance and change, taking all cross-project impacts into account

- Communicating consistently across internal and external stakeholders, tailoring messages to ensure that it is right for the audience and consistent with broader project/digital messaging
- Working as a part of a large team, including internal and third party organisations, and taking the lead where necessary
- Identifying and assuring Operational Acceptance Criteria and Service Acceptance Criteria
- Delivering projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies, along with a Hybrid Approach
- Strong understanding and practical application of the ITIL framework to deliver and operate digital services
