EXPERIENCE
Essential skills and experience
- Associate Content Designer with demonstrable experience of creating user facing multimedia content
- Be able to work at pace in an agile environment and from a digital perspective
- Have exemplary spelling and grammar and be aware of how to write and edit using a style guide and plain English
- Be aware of the user-centred approach to content design and of the importance of explaining design decisions in a way that other people understand
- Know why it's important to put forward the case for content design within the department
- Be aware of how to plan user research and of how to use data and research to inform content design decisions
- Be able to handle constructive criticism of your work and to constructively review other people’s work
- Be able to understand how your work fits into the wider context of the team and department
- Proven working knowledge of multimedia Content Design, particularly focusing on user facing content which engages users to understand and adopt change
Nice-to-have skills and experience
- Demonstrate experience of working in a large scale organisation and/or Government or Public Sector
- Digital Workplace experience
