Running Agile Ceremonies and contributing to the overall reporting of the DWP Place product Delivery Teams. Upholding DWP values and working within Government Digital Standards.

Who the specialist will work with
The existing team is augmented with a mix of Civil Servants and other 3rd party supplier resource.
What the specialist will work on
The DWP are looking to engage with a supplier to provide an Delivery Manager preferabaly with Agile experience the existing DWP Team, to deliver continuous DWP Place Integration and Continuous Improvement activities within the existing team.Candidate will have Delivery Management experience, preferably Agile. Able to Sprint plan, lead Agile Squad, manage risks, feed into broader DWP Place roadmaps, conduct Agile ceremonies, Stakeholder engagement, reporting, dependency management. Knowledge of Service Now or knowledge of delivering Integration components desirable but not essential
WORK SETUP
Address where the work will take place
Candidate will be based at our DWP Hub in St Peters Square, Manchester. DWP are currently implementing a Hybrid working arrangement and the candidate will be expected to meet these working arrangements
Working arrangements
the specialist will work with the existing DWP Augmented Teams, this will consist of DWP Digital staff and other 3rd party suppliers engaged in Service Now development work
Security clearance
The supplier will be required to hold BPSS security clearance as a minimum.

EXPERIENCE
Essential skills and experience
  • Have experience in managing a Digital Delivery
  • Have excellent planning Skills - Agile Sprints, milestone planning
  • Have excellent Risk Management: Issues and Dependencies
  • Have excellent Stakeholder Management, Communication, presentation and facilitation
  • Be able to run key Agile Ceremonies such as stand-up retrospectives
  • Have experience of managing Digital Delivery in an Agile working environment
  • Ability to remove blockers from Agile sprints assigned or escalate where appropriate to ensure delivery is completed to expected standards and are delivered within timescales
  • Have experience of Leading Agile ceremonies
Nice-to-have skills and experience
  • Knowledge of Service Now and or delivery of Digital integration requirements
  • Demonstrate experience of working in a large scale organisation and/or Government or Public Sector installation of Service Now
  • Knowledge or experience of working with Service Now and or delivery of Digital integration requirements
