Who the specialist will work with
The specialist will be working with a multi disciplinary, digital team.
What the specialist will work on
Create and design digital content for the Local Digital programme including the Local Digital Fund, Local Digital Declaration, Cyber and promotional campaigns. - Management of the Local Digital WordPress website (localdigital.gov.uk)- Social media management and content creation - Copywriting and proof reading across the all Local Digital channels (digital & tradional), to include blogs, newsletter, - email, marketing material and comms collateral
WORK SETUP
Address where the work will take place
2 Marsham Street, London, SW1P 4DF and remotely.
Working arrangements
Flexible, part-time 2-3 days a week.Current working arrangements are from home. Team is co-located in 2 Marsham Street when office reopens fully.All expenses must be included in the quoted rate.
Security clearance
A minimum of BPSS clearance is required.

EXPERIENCE
Essential skills and experience
  • Minimum 4 years experience in web graphic design
  • Minimum 4 years experience in website design and management
  • Minimum 4 years experience in copywriting and proof reading
  • Minimum 4 years experience in social media and content management
  • Minimum 4 years experience in branding and email marketing
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present findings in a compelling way
Nice-to-have skills and experience
  • Experienced in writing content for central government (gov.uk)
  • Proven ability to articulate complex content in a clear and succinct way
