ABOUT THE WORK

Who the specialist will work with
 Senior leadership within IMT and need to engage with Senior Directors in the business.
What the specialist will work on
 Support is required to brief the Trust Board on the extent of the transformation required, with a view to obtaining approval and securing the necessary funding to implement a fit for purpose data strategy within the Trust. The following pieces of work are sought: 1. An options appraisal identifying the possible range of approaches to transform the Trust’s data usage, and a recommended approach for the Trust to consider 2. An accompanying strategic outline case detailing: a. The case for investment and change b. Indicative costs c. Indicative timelines for the implementation.

Essential skills and experience
  • Experience in developing a Data Strategy in the NHS
  • Evidence of understanding and implementing a variety of current market-leading business intelligence softwares
Nice-to-have skills and experience
  • Experience in developing a Data Strategy in a mental health NHS Trust
  • Assist with implementation and delivery of the strategy in the next phase of the project
