The specialist will need to be a highly experienced (Practitioner level) Test Engineer.Day to day planning, design, and development of automation tests. Contributing towards programme milestones. Embedding in existing Test team and project teams, and undertaking KT.Upholding DWP values and working within Government Digital Standards.

Who the specialist will work with
The specialist will work with the existing DWP Test teams and the 'Cloud First' project. This will consist of DWP Digital staff and other 3rd party suppliers engaged in test automation development work.
What the specialist will work on
The specialist will be a highly experienced automation tester, able to deal with the design,development,testing /hardening and implementation of test packs.- Specialist will map requirements, design, and develop functional automation tests. Managing all the key dependencies for automation (environments,data,requirements, CI/CD tools etc)- Knolwedge transfer to existing test team members. - Support Cloud First project in delivery of key objectives.
WORK SETUP
Address where the work will take place
Primarily at the DWP Digital Corporate Hub2- St Peters Square, Manchester.
Working arrangements
Specialist will work within DWP Hybrid Approach of 8 working days per month in the office and remainder remotely until further notice.
Security clearance
All suppliers must be BPSS cleared and On-Shore.

It is essential that the Department (DWP) holds copies of and rights to all source code developed and accompanying intellectual property rights to the code to develop further or make changes as it sees fit.All work must be fully documented, and have accompanying knowledge transfer.

  • Demonstrable experience of working in a transformation project, and supporting the delivery of key milestones
  • Attend and participate in Agile ceremonies

  • TestComplete and GitLab.com experience
  • Intune, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, or Office365 experience
