Essential skills and experience
- Demonstrable evidence of having delivered multiple agile programmes and products/services
- Demonstrable evidence of managing programmes with multiple suppliers
- Demonstrable evidence of managing complex stakeholder situations
- Experience in leading a collaborative, dynamic planning process - prioritising the work that needs to be done against the capacity and capability of multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrable experience of mentoring and coaching more junior team members
- Proven ability to challenge and remove any unnecessary barriers to service delivery
- Understanding of user centred service design practices, Government Digital Service Standards and the assessment process
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence external partners, suppliers, stakeholders and customers to secure mutually beneficial outcomes
Nice-to-have skills and experience
- Knowledge of Government procurement landscape for digital and technology products and services
- Experience working in the Welsh public sector
- Ability to create concise and insightful communications for dissemination to all stakeholder groups
