Summary of the work
 The Planner will establish/maintain the End-to-End Plan, be accountable for elicitation of updates from workstreams and non-PPM SME's, and facilitate planning sessions with a range of stakeholders including at very senior levels. (Director) They will establish/maintain critical path analysis, dependency analysis and milestone tracking to report strategically and generate MI.

EXPERIENCE
Essential skills and experience
  • Provide evidence of experience of working as a Planner on large-scale, complex IT and change Projects/Programme(s)
  • Provide evidence of experience of working as a Planner on a large-scale change programme within a Policy-Led environment, preferably within the Public Sector/Government
  • Provide evidence of expert proficiency in MS Project including dependency management and critical path tracking
  • Provide evidence of experience in generating Management Information (MI) reports, ideally automatically, for multiple audiences including project reviews, delivery review, leadership team and executives`
  • Provide evidence of experience working collaboratively with stakeholders of all levels of experience and maturity to ensure the project plan (and associated reporting artefacts) are provided in a timely manner
Nice-to-have skills and experience
  • Provide evidence of an understanding of the Government Digital Service’s Design Principles and Digital Service Standard
  • Provide evidence of a suitable qualification in Project and/or Programme Management, such as Prince II, Managing Successful Programmes, PMP, APMG etc.
  • Provide evidence of previous experience working with DVLA, DfT or DEFRA
