 Leicestershire Police IT
What the specialist will work on
 The tasks will include migrating a number of Oracle databases from different versions to 19c, ad migrating EM Cloud control from 12c to 19c. The migrated products will need to be tested and hardened.

 Leicestershire Police HQ, St. Johns, Enderby, Leicester, Leicestershire, LE19 2BX
Working arrangements
 Ideally office offices, but with flexibility to work earlier or later as required. Any expenses should be included in the day rate.

EXPERIENCE
Essential skills and experience
  • Installing Oracle Database 19c (on Server 2016)
  • Database Migration from 11.2.0.4 to 19c (all Windows)
  • Database Migration from 10g to 19c (all Windows)
  • Manual and Automatic database migration methods
  • Developing database migration test plans
  • Database Replay, SQL Performance Analyzer, SQL Plan Management
  • Performance Tuning 19c
  • Working knowledge of PDB and CDB
  • Application testing
  • Installing and configuring Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control, preferably 13.3
  • Upgrading EM from 12r3 to 13r3
  • Deploying EM agents to Windows servers
  • Hardening Oracle Database 19c and EM Cloud Control 13
  • Patching Oracle Database 19c and EM Cloud Control 13
Nice-to-have skills and experience
  • If skills / experience are in different versions / platforms to those mentioned, this may be acceptable; please mention what versions / platforms
  • If limited experience on Windows servers, please mention which iterations and what level of experience
  • Knowledge transfer
  • Substantial documentation which includes steps and commands
  • Recent reference sites, preferably Police
