Who the specialist will work with
 The Delivery Lead will lead multiple workstreams as part of IPO's Transformation team. The candidate will work across the organisation, including key stakeholder management at all levels of IPO.

 Intellectual Property Office are transforming their business services, within the scope of Transformation programme, is to create services that are: -as common as they can be across all of our rights; -designed with customers and focused on their requirements, easy to use and resilient; -are supported by effective technical and business support. This is a great opportunity to work on a high-profile programme that will deliver transformed IP services. The successful candidate will work within the transformation programme team to deliver new ways of working and new services to IPO.

Has evidence of how the supplier integrates with an existing team, takes ownership of problems and resolves issues. Can demonstrate how it will openly share work and outputs iteratively throughout the project for IPO consideration and challenge. Has a sound methodology and approach for working with and respecting a client's existing governance and decision making processes.

EXPERIENCE
Essential skills and experience
  • Evidence of delivering complex transformation programmes/projects to time cost and quality
  • Evidence of successfully escalating and managing risk to deliver successful outcomes
  • Experience in planning multi-year, complex technology and business change programmes/projects including resource and financial management, and dependency management
  • Experience of supporting the programme in robust vendor management and performance of third party delivery partners
  • Experience and evidence of strong project monitoring and management
  • Experience of managing multi workstream delivery teams
  • Evidence of strong client upskilling and knowledge transfer capability
  • Experience of delivering projects/programmes with high levels of business process change and technology transformation
Nice-to-have skills and experience
  • Work as a team with our organisation as well as suppliers
  • Drive outcomes making decision effectively while also considering the point of view of others
  • Delivering messages effectively while considering the individuals' involved
