Summary of the work
The BA would be required to work alongside Operational, Policy staff and external stakeholders to define data and develop new processes, reporting template, guidance documents and activity maps to support a new Renewable scheme as well as provide training to operational staff. Handover activities to internal Business Analysis team

Who the specialist will work with
The BA will be working with 1. Internal Ofgem Staff- Policy Team, Operational Team and other Business Analysts 2. External Suppliers
What the specialist will work on
1. Work alongside Operational and Policy staff to develop New processes, reporting template, guidance documents and activity maps to support a new Renewable scheme 2. Work with 3rd party stakeholders to define the data to be collected from external suppliers and the format it is to be collected 3. Work with Suppliers to understand how their data will be captured 4. Work alongside internal Policy staff to train Operational staff on new Processes 5. Preparation of Handover documents of all work done to Business Analysis team
WORK SETUP
Address where the work will take place
Scotland, with occasional travel to London In suppliers premises or possibly by calls
Working arrangements
Onsite as required and offsite at Suppliers premises where required. Regular team meetings with Project Team and Lead Business Analyst for Updates.

EXPERIENCE
Essential skills and experience
  • Proven experience in business analysis
  • Business process modelling, analysis and design skills
  • Demonstrable expertise in various analysis techniques and methodologies
  • Experience of GDS guidelines and principles
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Experience of producing and/or contributing to a range of documentation that may include presentations, briefings, business cases, training materials
  • Business process governance and policy management experience
  • Excellent communication skills
Nice-to-have skills and experience
  • Knowledge of renewable energy support schemes
