What the specialist will work on
 Current Business Intelligence data platform is based on old technology which doesn’t facilitate the consumption and processing of big data. The work will cover but not limited to - Support the design of Azure Data Platform Architecture to minimise ongoing revenue costs - Support the implementation of the new Azure Data Platform to defined policy and design - Supporting the above implementation through any required app development

 Proven experience in last 3-years of an open/collaborative working relationship at all levels with excellent communication and co-ordination skills when conducting daily stand-ups, team meetings, presentation and demonstrations Forward looking organisation with continual development to keep up with changing ICT landscape Has a no-blame culture and encourages people to learn from their mistakes, working as Suppliers must demonstrate an ability and willingness to work collaboratively within a multi-vendor delivery environment Able to communicate effectively with users, technical architects and solve issues with complex integrations

EXPERIENCE
Essential skills and experience
  • Comprehensive understand of the Azure platform is required to ensure minimisation of on-going revenue costs
  • High and low level architectural design of a modern data platform
  • Working knowledge of networking and infrastructure to support discussions with supporting Digital functions
  • Broader experience knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform
  • Competency in the development of PowerShell and general business application development
  • Experience of full software development life cycle in the context of data warehousing
  • Knowledge of Continues Deployment and Continuous Integration in the context of data warehousing
